Adrian Heskin: Conditions here will be right up his alley
No Duffer
He loves nice ground, which hopefully he will get here, and he did well last season, winning at Doncaster and then finishing a good second at Newbury for me. We are happy with him at home, I think he is on a fair enough mark and I’d say 3m at Chepstow on good ground would be right up his alley. He has tended to need his reappearance in recent seasons but he did win first time out a few years back.
Double Shuffle
I think 2m3f on good ground could be a little bit sharp for him but, saying that, we were only beaten a head in this race last year. He progressed well afterwards, and was only beaten ½ length in the valuable BetBright handicap at Kempton in February. After that, I rode him in the Grand National and he jumped great before failing to get home. He is 2lb higher than at Kempton but he is fit and well and this is a good starting point for him once again.
