Bryan Cooper: He looks a decidedly useful prospect
Vision Des Flos
This is clearly a very competitive race and a pretty big ask for a horse making his hurdling debut, but Vision Des Flos has loads of potential. To win the Land Rover bumper at Punchestown on his racecourse debut marked him down as a decidedly useful prospect, and it is no surprise that he went for a lump of money afterwards. I schooled him on Thursday morning and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do against some smart, experienced hurdlers here.
Sizing Granite
He took a while to come to hand for Colin last season but he got it right in some style when winning at Punchestown in April. He paid for it with an 11lb rise in the weights, and if he wins this off a mark of 157 then I imagine Colin will be looking at some good races for him. Let’s hope that is the case come Sunday evening then, and we know that he is fully effective over 2m4f on good ground.
