Carl Frampton on Lockdown
Carl Frampton is enjoying some extra time at home with his family during this unprecedented period of lockdown but the two-weight world champion is probably finding it difficult to fully switch off from the fight game.
The 32Red ambassador is waiting for the go ahead to jump on a plane and resume training with Jamie Moore and his gym-mates in Manchester. When the boxing action can get back underway, Frampton has a serious test waiting for him to get his teeth into.
Frampton’s challenge for Jamel Herring’s WBO Super Featherweight title is still scheduled to take place but the date and venue are currently up in the air. There will be no warm ups, as soon as it is safe to do so Frampton will throw himself into training as he bids to make history and become the first Irishman to become a three-weight world champion.
Whilst he is at home #onlockdown Frampton sat down to let fans know exactly how he is keeping himself occupied and what fans can expect to see from him over the coming months.
