DeGale v Eubank: Carl Frampton’s prediction

32Red ambassador Carl Frampton looks forward to the weekend’s big fight. It’s James DeGale v Chris Eubank Jr – but who will come out on top? Here’s the Jackal’s verdict:  

It’s a very interesting fight, I think that people are talking about DeGale maybe being over the hill and Eubank getting him at the right time, but I don’t see it like that.

I still don’t see enough, ever, from Eubank to show that he can beat someone like DeGale, even if he is slightly over the hill. I think that DeGale is the far superior boxer.

Eubank is very good against people that stand still in front of him. His shot selection’s good and he moves around and picks his punches well and puts them together well, but he always has problems with people that move.

I think that from what I’m hearing, DeGale is in good shape, he’s had a few injuries that he’s overcome, and I expect James DeGale to win with a unanimous points decision.
