I believe she still has an entry in the 1,000 Guineas – though, with that in mind, I think she may have originally been with Godolphin last season – so hopefully that is a good sign. I haven’t sat on her at home but she is certainly bred to be smart, being by Exceed And Excel out of a mare who won for John Gosden here before moving to France and picking up a Group 3 over 1m3f in Germany. The Wood Ditton is the Wood Ditton and you obviously never know what you are up against – and all of the big trainers have runners in here, so I’ll probably be a big outsider – but hopefully she won’t be disgraced on her debut.
