He needs to improve a bit to be winning this but he obviously ran his best race of the season when second at Sandown last time – that probably wasn’t too far off the form of his Middle Park fifth – so hopefully he can step forward again. The step to 6f could suit, too.
Natural Scenery
I won on her twice here at the turn of the year. She hasn’t raced since finishing a fair sixth on all-weather finals day at Lingfield on Good Friday, so she comes here a fresh horse and she does seem to go well after a break. She looks a nice ride, and a draw in 10 could have been worse. She isn’t the easiest of rides but I am excited to be getting back on her and she was in a good place when I worked her a week ago.
Airton
I rode him when he dead-heated over course and distance in December and he has run well on all of his four starts at this track. He is another who hasn’t raced for a while, though only a month or so in his case, but I think he can be competitive off this mark.
