I have never ridden him before but he looks a decent ride to pick up. He was second over course and distance last season and ran really well on his comeback, after a gelding operation, when just touched off at Kempton last month. He went up 2lb for that but hopefully he can still be competitive here.
Angel Force
She doesn’t look to hold an obvious chance on the evidence of her two runs to date.
Unforgetable Filly
This is a competitive Listed race but she must have a leading chance if at her best. She was a very smart juvenile and she ran a blinder on her return when second in the Nell Gwyn. She didn’t run up to that form in the 1,000 Guineas last time, though by no means disgraced, and the step down to 7f should suit her, and fast ground certainly does. She should go close, for all this is a pretty good race.
Cray
He looks to have been improving as he has stepped up in trip and he got his head in front for the first time over this trip at Wetherby last time. He has gone up 4lb and this looks a pretty hot handicap, but there could be more to come from him now they have found his trip and hopefully first-time cheekpieces will help him, too.
