Lomachenko v Crolla: Carl Frampton’s prediction
32Red ambassador Carl Frampton looks forward to the weekend’s big fight. British fighter Anthony Crolla takes on Vasyl Lomachenko – but who will take the spoils? Here’s how Carl calls it:
“I think that although Crolla is the bigger man, Lomachenko is a completely unique fighter, there’s never been a fighter ever with a similar style to him. I think that Crolla needs to use his strength, and size advantages, but it’s easier said than done against Loma.
“I think Lomachenko will win the fight pretty comfortably in the end, but I think Crolla will keep things nice and tight, he’ll keep pushing forward and trying, I don’t think he’ll get stopped.
“I think it will be a points decision to Lomachenko but I don’t think Crolla will do himself any harm, I’m sure he’ll try right to the end – but lose on points.”
