Luke Morris: He has always shown us a lot more at home than on the track
Pioneertown
He ran a lot better when just touched off over 1m3f at Kempton last week, and a 1lb rise for that run is as good as we could have expected. I said here last week that he has always shown us a lot more at home than on the track but hopefully he can back up that Kempton run here. The return to 1m6f is a question mark.

He appears to have run below form on soft on his last two starts but hopefully he will get the better ground that he seems to prefer here. If he returns to some of his early summer form in big-field handicaps then he certainly would have a winning chance of a mark of 47, and the 7f trip is fine.

He ran okay in first-time cheekpieces last time. That headgear is left off here but he has been dropped what could be a generous 3lb for that third over 6f at Catterick, he stays this 7f trip, and I think he could well figure prominently in this winnable 0-60 handicap.
