He has done brilliantly for me of late, winning two and finishing a neck second on the other occasion. He has gone up another 4lb for scoring at Ripon last time but he loves this soft ground and clearly comes here in great nick, so you have to be hopeful.

He ran poorly last time but the time before at Haydock he shaped very well to finish fourth from off the pace. If he comes back to that form – or his fourth for me at Windsor the time before – I think he has definite chances off this mark, which is 1lb lower than at Haydock.
