2.05pm Kempton

Wild Hacked

He ran okay in midfield in the Ebor last time but he clearly has a lot to find to the form horse Chemical Charge here, and a couple of others, too.  But this doesn’t look the strongest Group 3 of the season in terms of depth and my horse looks best on all-weather surfaces, as he showed when winning at Newcastle in April, while he also chased home Big Country at this track. He has a place chance on his all-weather form.

2.40pm Kempton

Tunes Of Glory

He has proved consistent since winning on his debut, running a couple of fair races for me before improving to finish second at Ffos Las last time. I think his mark of 80 gives us a little room for manoeuvre and I think he has a good chance.

3.15pm Kempton

Presumido

He is an all-weather specialist, winning four times here and as many times at Lingfield, and hopefully he can be competitive off a falling handicap mark once again. He may have needed the race last time, as it was his first start since March, and he was dropped 2lb for it. He needs a good pace to aim at and be ridden for luck, so hopefully he will get both here.

3.50pm Kempton

We Are The World

I rode him when he won over course and distance last time. He was entitled to win that on his earlier form but he is a nice, big, scopey horse who is the type to keep on improving. I would hope he can rate higher than his current mark of 79 and I think he has a fair chance here. The stable continues in great form.

4.25 Kempton

Connery

He clearly didn’t run his race at Newbury last time and this 6f may suit him better, but he clearly has to improve a good deal to even get competitive here against proven class horses like Invincible Army and some promising maiden winners.

5.00pm Kempton

Professor

He is a decent old stick who was a very good horse in his prime. He is getting on a bit now but at least he is down to a realistic handicap mark now and he is actually weighted to go well on some of his form here earlier in the year.

5.30pm Kempton

Pioneertown

We have tried him over a variety of trips and, to be honest, he has been slightly disappointing. But hopefully 1m3f around Kempton will be his bag and from what he shows at home then he is better than his current handicap mark of 72. But we need to find the key to him on the track, and he can be a bit too keen for his own good.
