Luke Morris: I’ll be disappointed if there is not more to come from him
Atalanta’s Boy
I have galloped him around Lingfield and he goes pretty well, but I’d say that he is the type to improve for the run and the experience.
Ballistic
Both of Robert’s 2yos to have run this season have shaped promisingly without winning and this newcomer cost 180,000 euros a yearling and is a well-related Kodiac colt. He goes well at home – he is a nice, sharp 2yo type – but some of the big stables are represented here with well-bred individuals, not least Aidan’s Scat Daddy colt Van Beethoven, so it will probably take a fair bit of winning. But my horse is okay and he will like the juice in the ground being by Kodiac. I rode in the Breeze-Ups this morning and I’d say the ground is probably more good to soft than soft.
Red Tea
He looks to go well when fresh and came to hand early last season. He also looks fairly-treated on his course-and-distance third in November. He goes well at the track and I think he is weighted to run a fair race in a competitive race, if straight enough on his return, and he does have form in soft ground.
Storm Over
I am two from two on him, and he finished last season with a good win at Catterick for me over 5f in the soft. He has gone up 5lb but I’ll be disappointed if there is not more to come from this lightly-raced 4yo this season, and we know conditions will suit him here. I haven’t ridden him in his work this spring but he looks a good sprinting prospect.
