Luke Morris: She has each-way claims, for sure
Hope And Glory
This will be the first time I have ridden her. She looks to be a pretty consistent type in these low-level nurseries – her worse runs have come in cheekpieces, and they are left off here – and she clearly bumped into a well-handicapped horse in Vegas Boy at Chelmsford last time. She races off the same mark here and so has a 13lb pull with the 5-length winner, so that gives her chances of reversing the form. She has each-way claims, for sure.
Praeceps
He is a Canford Cliffs half-brother to a winner over this trip, so a mile looks a sensible starting point for him. There are one or two in here with decent form already, so they set a fair standard for a newcomer to aim at. He is a nice type but probably more of a horse for next year, when further will suit, too, I imagine.
Loveatfirstsight
I rode her once last year and she has bits and pieces of form that give her a chance off a mark of 57, notably a few of her runs at Wolverhampton in the summer. And hopefully a change of stables will have perked her up a bit after a below-par run last time. The mile trip is pretty much an unknown, as she has not run over it since her debut.

He has won twice around here, and isn’t badly drawn in five. He returned to winning ways in the summer and has continued to run okay, including last time out at Newmarket. He is inching down the handicap again, so he has claims in an open race. He is a horse I know well and hopefully, he will jump handy and get a good position from his draw.
Perfect Spy
She ran poorly on her handicap debut at Lingfield last time but maybe it was simply the soft ground there. She has been dropped 2lb for it and she would have definite chances off this mark if returning to her earlier maiden form. This trip should suit on her pedigree and she has all-weather form at Chelmsford and Wolverhampton.
