It’s a quiet day for me with just one ride, and that’s on Kings Lad for Colin Tizzard. He’s been off the course for the best part of two years, so there’s always the question of how much of his old ability will be intact, but the handicapper has given him a chance by dropping him a long way in the weights, and Colin has a proven track record when it comes to getting horses fit after a layoff. This looks a tough race for his comeback with the likes of Irving and the unbeaten Monbeg Legend in opposition, so it’s hard to say he’s going to win, but hopefully he could put up a good performance.
