He ran in the 32Red Tolworth Hurdle on Saturday, so he is obviously a non-runner.

She may be a 10yo now but she is in the form of her life. She only joined us in the summer and I have been lucky enough to be on board for her last three victories, the most recent when she knuckled down well to win over 2m4f in the heavy at Uttoxeter. She was probably even more impressive when earlier winning over this trip at Newcastle. She has gone up 25lb for those three successes, so this will obviously be a lot harder for her, but she is a tough mare who hopefully has more improvement in her. And she will love the ground.

He is another horse who I have been fortunate to be on for all his three wins, but we haven’t seen him for over two years now as he has been off with a leg injury. The handicapper hasn’t been that kind in his absence as he is still 4lb higher over fences than when winning at Uttoxeter on his penultimate start – normally they give them a bit more of a chance after such a lay-off – so we start him back over hurdles on a much more attractive mark. He is 11lb lower, in fact, off 113. He has also come back a bigger and stronger horse, and has been going well at home, so I’d be hopeful and fingers crossed the testing ground shouldn’t be an issue as a result, though his best form to date has come on better going.
