Paddy Brennan: He is weighted to take a hand but he has questions to answer now
Baby King
He hasn’t run up to his best this season but he shaped better for me at Ludlow last time, and has been dropped 2lb. He is now 2lb lower than when I won on him at Perth, so he is definitely weighted to go well. Ideally, he may want a bit more dig in the ground but hopefully he will be okay and we get some of the forecast showers.
Chase The Spud
He was clearly very disappointing at Sandown on his return and the ground is likely to be a lot livelier than is ideal, but we know he likes a stamina test, so here we are. He has also been dropped 4lb for that Sandown run, and hopefully he just needed it more than we thought. He is certainly weighted to take a hand on his Midlands National and Haydock victories, but he clearly has questions to answer now.
