Paddy Brennan: I would have been gutted had I not got the ride as I really fancy him
1.30pm
I am a Yorkhill fan. I think you will see a better horse in this better race, and he is much the best in here in terms of class and talent. If Ruby can keep the lid on him I don’t think he will come off the bridle.

I would have been gutted had I not got the ride as I really fancy him. We enjoyed no luck in two chase starts this season – he should have won both – so we decided to come back over hurdles, and he was obviously in the process of running a good race when I came out the side door at the last at Warwick. I am by no means sure he would have won there at all but the handicapper upped him 5lb anyway, and he finished a fair fourth on the soft at Exeter last time. But I love this horse and I think the better ground will see him take a big step forward. I honestly give him a massive chance.
2.50pm
I am not sure about Un De Sceaux at the trip but I am not sure what is best placed to take advantage. Maybe Uxizandre, who will love the drying ground and who has cheekpieces on.
3.30pm
I think Unowhatimeanharry is a certainty.
4.10pm
I think Diamond King will win this. I think he has had a wind op since his last run, too, and he will love the ground.
4.50pm
I was gutted when Colin’s Sister was pulled out on Tuesday and she was entered in here, too. In her absence I think Let’s Dance will win. It’s their banker of the week, I hear.
5.30pm
I give Alvarado a good chance in this. He has dropped to a decent mark and will love this ground, and he goes well here, too. He has a really good each-way chance.
