Paddy Brennan: she needs to step up to another level again in Grade 1 company here but we have a lot of faith
Colin’s Sister
I love Colin’s Sister and was absolutely gutted when she was pulled out of Cheltenham with an over-reach on her off-fore. And I would have loved her chances here even more had the ground been a bit softer, so let’s hope there is plenty of rain in Ireland. But we are where we are and she hasn’t stopped improving all season and she completed her four-timer in great style at Sandown last time from a decent mare in Happy Diva. She is a typical mare in that there is no stopping their improvement when they get on a roll. Of course she needs to step up to another level again in Grade 1 company here – and it looks a strong Grade 1, too, with Willie running four of his big guns – but we have a lot of faith in her ability. It is clearly a tough ask, though.
