He didn’t run to his best at Ludlow last time but he has been eased 2lb for it and is now only 5lb higher than when winning well previously at Newcastle. If he returns to that form then he has definite chances off his low weight on ground he enjoys.
Troubled Soul
She ran really well, coming off a break since January, when second for me at Market Rasen earlier this month. She went up 2lb for that run, but we were 5 lengths clear of the third there, she has a lovely racing weight and this is her ground and trip. This has been the plan for a while and he looks set to go very well, with the race cutting up a bonus. Hopefully, first-time cheek pieces will help, as well.
Copper West
He was in winning form when we last saw him, scoring at Leicester in December, although I don’t think we would have prevailed there had Somewhere To Be not fallen at the last. But he won, he has had a break since, he is fresh and well, will love the conditions, and I think is more unexposed than most in here. I think he has a pretty good chance.
