Ipswich Town vs Arsenal

Facing an immediate return to the Championship after a disappointing season in the Prem, at least Ipswich might go out with a bit of fight.

Kieran McKenna’s side held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge last week, though perhaps that says as much about Enzo Maresca’s waning star as it does the Tractor Boys’ newly-roused will to win (well, draw).

Chelsea might have disappointed for much of 2025, but Ipswich have only won one game since the start of the year, against Bournemouth (oddly, their last win before that came against Maresca’s side).

Four points from their last three games is undoubtedly an improvement for McKenna’s team. Can they take something against an Arsenal side weary from their Champions League exertions against Real Madrid earlier in the week?

The Gunners have drawn four of their last six Premier League games, so perhaps it’s not as unlikely as it looks at first glance. Still, it’s maybe a bit of a reach to have the hosts taking victory against Mikel Arteta’s side, given McKenna’s team have won just four league games all season – and only one of those at Portman Road.

Better, perhaps, to back under 2.5 goals – that bet would have paid off in seven of Arsenal’s last eight league games. Under 2.5 goals is a 57/50 shot.

Leicester vs Liverpool

With Mo Salah and now Virgil van Dijk signing new contracts and the Merseyside team cruising to the Premier League title, things should be good in the Liverpool camp.

But with recent defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle in the Champions League and Carabao Cup, the season seems to be ending with a slight lack of sizzle.

Arne Slot’s side even lost their last away game in the Prem, to Fulham – just their second league defeat of the season. Could Leicester do a similar job at the King Power on Sunday?

Sadly for Foxes fans, there’s no earthly reason to think so. It’s been a rough old campaign for the Midlands side, even if they did earn an away draw against Brighton last time out.

That stalemate marked the end of a run of eight straight defeats in the Prem. And Leicester hadn’t even scored a single goal in that eight-match run, dating back to the start of February.

Which all suggests that the visitors should make short work of Leicester, whatever their result against Brighton last time out.

This might be a bit of a drubbing too; the Foxes lost 3-0 to Newcastle last time out at the King Power, and other recent home defeats include a 3-0 loss to Man United, a 4-0 monstering from Brentford and 2-0 turning overs by Palace, Fulham and Arsenal.

Liverpool to win to nil is a 21/20 shot; Liverpool to win 3-0 in the Correct Score market is a 13/2 shot.
