Premier League preview: Nottingham Forest vs Spurs
Forest’s draw away to Wolves last weekend means Steve Cooper remains in charge for now. But while that match resulted in a welcome point, it’s now just one win in 12 for the Tricky Trees.
Tottenham’s gung-ho approach under Ange Postecoglou seems certain to mean there will also be openings for the hosts. But after a chastening run of winless matches for Spurs, the side romped to a 4-1 win over Newcastle in north London last time out.
It’s not like Tottenham can’t impress on the road, either – they’ve already earned a 3-3 draw against Man City this month.
Goals don’t seem to be a problem for the visitors, but Forest can’t make the same claim; they’ve found the net once in their last three matches. Meanwhile, Spurs have scored in each of their last 28 league games.
Forest have also failed to win their last two home games in the Prem so this looks like a glaring opportunity for the north London side to pick up an away win.
Tottenham to be winning at half-time and full-time is a 31/20 shot; the side are fast starters, having scored in the first half in each of their last six matches.
