Premier League preview: Wolves vs Chelsea
Twas the day before Christmas – and much to Chelsea fans’ chagrin, they’ll be spending much of the day negotiating British public transport for this Xmas eve trip to Molineux. Good luck with that.
The Blues haven’t travelled brilliantly in recent weeks, with away defeats to Newcastle, Man Utd and Everton since late November.
But then, neither of these sides have excelled in recent weeks, with Wolves blown away 3-0 by West Ham last time out. Chelsea at least saw off Newcastle in the League Cup at Stamford Bridge earlier this week, though it was a close-run thing.
So can Poch make it a merry Christmas for the west London club? Well, Wolves are unbeaten in their last six home games, with this current incarnation of Chelsea famously flaky. So Wolves or Draw in the Double Chance market at 9/10 looks like it’s got legs.
Otherwise, Hwang Hee-Chan to score for the hosts is worth a look; the Korean has six goals at Molineux to date, and is 15/2 to find the opener here.
